Model Rehabilitation Centre

Commissionerate for the Welfare of the Differently Abled – Chennai, has given the Government Oder for Model Rehabilitation Centre for children affected with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by Molecular Diagnostics, Counseling, Care and Research Centre (MDCRC) Coimbatore to establish a Model Centre for persons affected with muscular dystrophy in Coimbatore with an aim to provide quality support services for the affected persons and to ensure the standards of care for persons affected by muscular dystrophy who are facing physical and psychological problems. The order was given in September 2014.
